This Android app gives you both International and
Wabun Japanese Morse code
horizontal lever (straight key) and iambic paddle practice oscillators.
It does NOT interface with your radio to provide a keying device.
Each oscillator translates Morse code into English with CW prosigns and
Japanese kana characters in real time as you practice.
You may select either English or Japanese language,
separate from entering Wabun Mode or International Mode.
Practice sending International and Japanese Wabun Morse code
with a horizontal lever (straight key) practice oscillator.
Settings include WPM, show/hide code/text, choose sidetone 400Hz-800Hz.
Adjust the WPM so that you can produce well formed Morse code at a comfortable speed.
Practice sending International and Japanese Wabun Morse code
with an iambic paddle practice oscillator.
Simply touch down on the DIT and DAH paddles
instead of pinching, squeezing, or flinging.
Settings include WPM, CW weight ratio, reverse paddles,
show/hide Morse code/text, choose sidetone 400Hz-800Hz.
To enter Wabun mode send the prosign NJ (-..---),
and send the prosign SN (...-.) to return to International mode.
English or Japanese language and Wabun Mode are set independently.
You can set the language to Japanese, but still be in International Mode.
Likewise, you can set the language to English and also be in Wabun Mode.
Press and hold the Clear Code/Text button to adjust CW and Text label font sizes.
For a more realistic tactile TX training experience,
you may use a real straight key with this app by connecting
to your Android device via an easily modified USB mouse.
