Practice sending International Morse code and CW with
a straight key practice oscillator app for Android.
This app translates International Morse code into Latin letters,
Arabic numerals, punctuation and CW prosigns in real time as you practice.
This app DOES NOT interface with your radio to provide a keying device.
It is only intended as a practice oscillator.
Characters translated:
Latin letters A to Z, plus á, ch, é, ñ, ö, and ü
Arabic numerals 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
CW prosigns AA, AR, AS, BK, BT, CT, HH, KN, NJ, SK, SN, and SOS
Punctuation , / ' ! : ; - _ " $ @ and STOP (period)
Settings include WPM, show/hide Morse code/text, choose sidetone 400Hz-800Hz.
Adjust the WPM so that you can produce well-formed Morse code at a comfortable speed.
Press and hold the Clear Code/Text button to adjust CW and Text label font sizes.
Certain settings on your Android device will curtail the sensitivity and
performance of this app and should be turned OFF during its use.
Default settings are recommended.
Two examples are Tap Duration and Ignore Repeated Touches
(Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and Dexterity > Tap Duration/Ignore Repeated Touches).
For a more realistic tactile TX training experience,
you may use a real straight key with this app by connecting
to your Android device via an easily modified USB mouse.
